I ate cereal for supper, but I have a really good excuse. My throat is really sore and swollen. The cereal got soggy enough to just slip down.

I keep popcorn on hand for an easy snack. Not the microwave kind, the air popped kind. Not sure how healthy it is though, but being a diabetic and having to watch carbs. I like to go for foods that give me the biggest bang for my buck. Popcorn does that. Because of its fluffed up air injected state, I can have a bigger serving size of it and still end up under my carb count.

I dislike water. I really do, My compromise may not be the best, but it does ensure I get plenty of water. I use crystal light to flavor my water. Using the crystal and my big half gallon cup. Circle K special, I have been known to drink a gallon and a half a day.

I like the idea of making meals ahead. Some days I feel so blah! Having already prepared food in the freezer means I can have my blah days with no guilt and the family and I still eat healthy. I am going to try the burrito idea. It sounds yummy.
