This Pet Cremation Story Ain’t Quite Over Folks…

If you’ve read my blog, you know about the pet cremation story done on a local news station here. It came out of nowhere and HIT HARD. I blogged about it, I felt sick about it…I believed what the news reported to me. After all, why wouldn’t I? I have been watching BCTV for years; I trust their reporters…

Then the emails started coming in from concerned people, people I didn’t know…people who wanted the REAL story to get out. There is so much more to this story then was even touched upon. I don’t know what to believe, where to look or how to go about getting the correct answers. I am extremely angry that not only was my clinic taken advantage of, but that SO MANY OTHERS were hurt. I can’t deny the facts listed here are solid. They’re backed up by screen shots, valid links….information anyone can access. Where is “Steele on Your Side” for the obvious follow up that is needed?

I am thankful for one person in particular who has helped me see another view on this and who is letting the facts speak for themselves. Please read those facts here. (to understand the entire story, please scroll to bottom of the page and read up…)

    • Thanks for stopping by to read it! What’s scary NOW is the new developments and the possibility this may all have been a ‘set up’ to make the industry to look bad, and a few crematoriums look good. There is so much more that needs to be investigated and I truly hope this issue does not get swept under the rug by local police here. Too many people have been hurt; pet owners AND those of us honest souls in the animal health profession. Thanks for your comment :-)

  1. This story is far from over. The whole thing was a set up involving innocent firms being victims by a very devious person. There are no facts to support the accusations of crematoria wrong doing. The Pet Cremation Alliance who started this “investigation” is no longer around even though Steele said the site would be taken over by the PLPA. There is an ongoing investigation.

    • Thanks Jerome. I agree 100% and am anxiously awaiting any new developments from someone with one of the “failed” crematoriums. It’s all so fishy and disheartening on so many levels.
