Normally I would never write about paint. But tonight is different. When I moved into this suite I was confronted with flat deep red walls in the living room, bright orange-yellow in the kitchen and a dark teal in the bedroom. Was the previous tenant color blind you ask? Seems that way…

My mom decided to come visit, to give me some much needed support due to the change in my life, and to paint she said. She loves to paint and is really quite the pro at it. We bought C-I-L realife paint and I’m not kidding you, my mom is going ga-ga over this stuff. She paints quite a bit, and has used all the major brands but this one changed her forever. I’m sounding dramatic but if only you could hear her you would be instantly converted. She’s like a commercial for this product! She’s using the eggshell in a color I honestly can’t recall at this moment, and I have to admit, it does look good.

It went over those atrocious red walls in only 2 coats!! 2 coats! That’s crazy. (apparently, so I’m told) The orange is currently being tackled but you know what? The teal is sort of growing on me. I think mom needs a painting break anyway…and besides, we’re almost out of paint.
