I’ve been a fan of this website that sells reusable bags and other eco-friendly products, for years. I always find great gift ideas here and love looking through all the new additions. -I’m so psyched about this for cats…when I get a house, I’m having this for sure! In my line of work I see so many cats come in hit by cars, attacked y raccoons or injured from cat fights…this seems the perfect solution.

- Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips. Mmmm, need I say more? Low fat of course. No, really. I wouldn’t lie about this…

- Ok I need to share what is possibly the BEST rice cracker/crisp out there. I know what you’re thinking: “rice crackers? Why would I eat rice crackers???” Because they’ve changed baby- they are tasty, low calorie and low fat and super-snackable. Riceworks is now at the top of my list. Flavors like Salsa Fresca, Parmesan and Sweet Chili make them interesting. And for my sweet tooth there’s even a Cinnamon one! How cool is that? Made with whole grain brown rice they are WHEAT and GLUTEN FREE. Check them out- personally I’m always looking for lower fat options to satisfy my craving for chips.

I live on the North Shore, in Vancouver BC, and we have ALOT of dogs over here. I work in animal health so when I find something I think is quality, I want to share it with other pet owners. At my clinic, we have received a ton of reviews for this place, Embark Dog Centre. Check out the site….and no, they didn’t pay me to say this- in fact, they have no idea I’m raving about them

Ok I’m REALLY surprised the reviews on ‘who would buy this product again’ are not higher…this has simply got to be the BEST veggie burger I have ever tried- and I’ve tried alot. This one is actually a good size; it’s thick and juicy! It’s got a slight kick to it, fills you up…and well I can’t say enough good things about it. Since Morningstar Farms don’t want to bring their product to Canada….I have to look elsewhere. I found my burger.

This is possibly the coolest bakery in town….(my town, Vancouver)….it’s all about Spelt and eating gluten free! HOW’S THAT SPELT? The Spelt Bakery…east vancouver and amazing!

Ok I’m a Vegetarian. You all know that….BUT while surfing the net tonight looking for something cool to blog about, I found this. Canned Unicorn. Gotta admit, its damn cute and would make a hysterical gift to one of your carnivore friends…no?

My Guy and I stumbled upon this shop today: Mis’cel’la’ny Finds on East Hastings and WHAT A GLORIOUS FIND! The stores tag line reads: Humans 4 Responsible Reconsumption. Never have a seen a more impressive array of 2nd hand sundresses for one thing; my eye immediately went to this adorable butter yellow halter dress…My Guy picked up the cutest blue faux suede purse for his daughter Moops as well as some super funky salt and pepper shakers for me! The hostess was vibrant and beautiful, her presence literally in every corner of the store. This blogger over at Second Hand Savvy writes about the place too and seems equally enamoured.

I am all over Pandora. I love these beads but wow, hundreds of bucks for ONE bead? Oh they’re beautiful allright, gorgeous in fact and maybe if My Guy and I win the lottery we could afford some genuine Pandora jewellry. But for now, I’m happy with my ‘pandora look alike’ bracelet from the Uptown Collection from Jesse James beads…(Thank you Margaret! Moops and I are two very lucky girls to wear such pretty things…)
